So so Much

Life - going by at 100 miles an hour, and here we are only appprox. 5 weeks or less away from the babe's coming.
Last night was our first baby shower. The girls were communicating with the baby by way of morse code (not really). Other than that, we've been quite busy getting the house and and such ready for him also. We repainted the living room and we are still in the process of painting the nursery this weekend, here's the living room.
Our church softball team has been an exciting addition to our summer.
This is the "wound" that I inflicted to myself a few weeks ago. I dove to home plate; and yet we still lost that game.

Time with friends and family is always a big part of our lives... one of our friends referred to hot tubs as human soup, hmm.
We hope that all of you, wherever you are, are having a great summer.

Rewind

I came across this picture - It was taken during our first unofficial date. One sunny October afternoon in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, we enjoyed the grass, among other things, it was our junior year at BBC. That same evening I went to the church that Stacey was attending at the time, and I, so attractively, dozed off during the service... And here we are almost 6 years later; approximately 9 months from the birth of a baby BOY. wow.

'been a While

Apologies- life gets crazy, and then you don't get to update your blog:). Well, Stacey just entered her 3rd trimester, so we have less than 3 months to go.
We cleared out our office, which is going to the baby's home. We'll keep you up to date on the progress that we make on the room.
My cousin Katie got married this past weekend and we had a good old time on the... oh yes, dance floor, even the pregnant one.

We always make the most of our time with the fam, whether in Buffalo, Quebec, Toledo, and the Southern states, by the way, if we haven't seen you in a while, we miss you.

We're having a great time at church, as we watch it grow and see God working in so many peoples' lives. I (Ben) am playing in our softball team - pics are on the way.

Well, once again we hope you all are doing great! We hope to see each and every one of you soon Bye for now

IT'S A...

...Boy - just in case :). We are extremely happy. We had the sonogram yesterday, and everything looks great. It was awesome to see the baby up close and personal. When the nurse told us the news, Stacey asked "Are you sure?" - to which the nurse answered "the only other person that could be more sure than me is Jesus Christ, Himself".

Stacey's doing great, she's been showing more and more each week. Everythihng is seeming more and more real every day, but still it's crazy to think that that kid is ours!

Well this last picture is really of our little man - he just wants peace!

More activity

As you can expect... we've been very excited to track the growth of the little one, but in these next few clips - he or she does not look so little anymore:).
All Legs

We think the baby is sucking on its thumb and then hiccups on this one

And finally, this is our favorite, keep an eye on the hand

Belli-ness

Well, today is the beginning of week 16!! For the record, it's a good thing that Stace is finally showing a bit - cuz she's been a bit too easy to live with for being "Enpregnated". No nausia, no moodiness (I thank my God every day...), just a bit sleepy at times.

Everyone once in a while, I try to talk to the baby, and hope to carry on a conversation, so I talk and then listen... :

For those of you who may not know quite as much about what we've been up to lately, here you go! Basically, work - church - people. Summed up in three words, but we are especially passionate about our church... And you may check our church's interim website (as we work on a more sophisticated one), to see a bit more about what goes on there and such: www.centerpointecc.blogspot.com . Many exciting things are happening there lately, growth of many kinds. And Stacey and I still love each other.

Growth

We are fortunate that Stacey works at a cardoilogist's office and therefore is able to use the ecocardiogram to "watch" the baby from time to time. She is 13 weeks along this week, and we got some shots of the babe in action. Stacey's showing a bit, she's been wearing most of my pants lately, actually. Just kidding! Hope everyone out there is doing well. Other than baby-news, things here are good. I think it has snowed for about 10 days straight, fun times. We're busy with work and church stuff, but it is all going well. There's 3 other girls having babies, in our little church between now and the time that we're due. Hope to talk to ya'll soon. By the way, we think the baby was stretching, hiccuping, and just hanging out in the clips.
