IT'S A...

...Boy - just in case :). We are extremely happy. We had the sonogram yesterday, and everything looks great. It was awesome to see the baby up close and personal. When the nurse told us the news, Stacey asked "Are you sure?" - to which the nurse answered "the only other person that could be more sure than me is Jesus Christ, Himself".

Stacey's doing great, she's been showing more and more each week. Everythihng is seeming more and more real every day, but still it's crazy to think that that kid is ours!

Well this last picture is really of our little man - he just wants peace!

How exciting that you get to carry on the Vermilyea name! Pop-pop would have been so proud. He always loved his great-greats, as he liked to call them. Boys are lots of fun, too!

The pictures you get at the doctor's office are so cool now. I never got anything more than a standard ultrasound.

I'm glad you guys are able to help even out the testosterone/estrogen levels at family gatherings. It might take a little while though considering most of the males will be under 5 = )
Yael will continue to enjoy her reign as princess.
I have a lot of boy clothes that I hope I never have to use again...

I found this poem and thought of you guys....

WHAT MAKES A DAD?

God took the strength of a mountain,
The majesty of a tree,
The warmth of a summer sun,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagle's flight,
The joy of a morning in spring,
The faith of a mustard seed,
The patience of eternity,
The depth of a family need.

Then God combined these qualities.
When there was nothing more to add,
He knew His masterpiece was complete,
